LW160 Field Strop

€20
Monogram

Handmade in Europe

Unfailing Materials

25-years Guarantee

PRODUCT

Leather strop is the cornerstone of traditional blade care. Maintain and create the absolute sharpness of the knife edge for any cutting task or dressing job. The blade sharpness will be maintained for longer, and you will not have to sharpen the knife as often as other coarse sharpening tools, such as the diamond sharpener. Manufactured from walnut wood and thick 10-oz bark-tanned leather.

— Works well with C100 Nubuck Gloves or C100 Goatskin Gloves.
— Also available as LW280 Paddle Strop.

SPECIFICATION

— Made from walnut wood
— Hand-finished with natural oils
─ Vegetable tanned cowhide leather
─ Strongest and most durable leather
─ Manufactured in Czech Republic

CONSIDERATION

Place the knife's edge against the leather and pull the blade in the direction of the spine—away from the edge. Repeat about 20 times on each side for optimal results.

LW160 Field Strop

Prepare the Strop

Apply a thin and even layer of stropping compound to your leather strop to enhance its sharpening efficiency.

Position the Blade

Hold your knife at a shallow angle 15-20 degrees to the strop, ensuring the edge makes full contact.

Stroke with Precision

Drag the blade backward away from the edge along the strop in a controlled motion, alternating sides to maintain symmetry.
