Dependable Whitetail-deer leather gloves. Each pair is crafted from wild-game hides sourced in Vermont, vegetable-tanned in wooden drums at the storied Pergamena tannery since 1550. Left undyed to earn field patina. Hand-treated with beeswax for extra water repellency. Reinforced where it counts, these gloves provide heavy-weight protection in the field. Our glove pattern is stitched with fire-resistant Kevlar® thread that won’t melt when handling fire. The keystone thumb construction provides durability, dexterity and solid grip, whether you’re shouldering rifle, coiling rope or working tools. And thanks to the hand-stitched leather attachment, the gloves can be easily collected by backpack or belt.
