Pinnacle of Japanese selvage denim
Our denim is woven on Toyoda shuttle looms, resulting in a tightly woven fabric with a clean, self-finished edge. This process requires a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, resulting in a durable and long-lasting material that looks utterly beautiful.
Original deep indigo blue
Dry selvedge has a deep indigo warp, unbleached, vintage-inspired ecru weft, tight construction, and a starchy crispness. The warp is first dyed in a dark sulfur dye and subsequently in indigo. This dyeing technique gives it a deep and muted indigo blue. Simply intriguing.
