Merino wool’s overall natural stain and soil resistance are significantly better than that of cotton or synthetic fibers. It has a natural protective layer that is bonded to the surface and, therefore, cannot be removed easily. These overlapping scales are slow to absorb liquids and thus allow spills to be wiped off before permanent staining occurs.

Merino wool only generates very little static electricity and does not attract dirt or lint as the most commonly used textile fibers. The fine crimp allows Merino wool to bounce back to its natural shape and gives wool garments a natural wrinkle resistance. Wool garments thus maintain an “as new” look for a longer period.
